Welcome to Zaragoza, a city over 2,000 years old that never fails to captivate and extend a warm welcome. In 2021, we planned to hold a postgraduate course and a preparatory course for the European Board exam in HPB during the Bilbao Congress, but the pandemic prevented it. This Meeting and Preparatory Course represent the merger of both ideas, encompassing numerous topics in a series of dynamic sessions that I hope you will find both engaging and valuable. I encourage you to network and strengthen relationships that will always contribute to improving the care of our patients.
